New to Prime INC - What to expect (Springfield edition)

K thanks... guess I could call my recruiter and ask.

 

Just about any medication lists dizziness as a potential side effect. Worst case is that they'll send you back home for a doctor's note. I doubt that they'll do that.

Most of the "bad" meds are the ones that will show up on a drug test.

 

I know the 5 panel drug test (cocaine, opiates, amphetamines, marijuana, & pcp) will be tested for and since I DO NOT, nor have I ever done drugs, I have absolutely no fear of that one...

I have not not started taking the flomax yet, but since it stated on the bottle that it MAY cause drowsiness... I thought I would check first.

Even my recruiter had no idea...

Trinity health care are the ones who do the med physicals at Prime. Their phone # is 417-234-1716. The head nurse is named Jackie I believe.

Got my CDL learners permit in the mail the other day. Got my vision corrected. Now just waiting for 2/2 to get here. It is getting close. I think that I am as well prepared as I can be. I have studied all the pretrip inspection information that I can find. I believe that the one thing I lack on that is the hands on experience. Hope to see you all soon.

 

all was going well....completed everything just waiting on med card. they needed a release because of cataract surgery...then get it on my permit...

 

Tale your knowledge of the pre trip ball it up in a ball and throw it in the trash. Learn all about PMS, CBB, ABC which Im not gonna share what those mean since Stan says it's primes way, but you will go through a pre trip class Wednesday I think and he will teach you the acronyms it's ain't too bad after doing it twice a day daily it becomes engraved into your head
