For anyone subscribed or reading this, I now work with circle bar a and I'm willing to answer any questions you may have about frac sand hauling in tx.
-
How long have you been there? What's your schedule been like? What kind of money is being made?
Thanks. -
been here since December 1 2013
I personally work 6 days a week and just come home to do laundry and get food. I'm always withing 2-3 hours of San Antonio (my home) and my boss leases his trucks to circle bar. I make 25% of the truck and it averages to be about 2000 every two weeks for me. Keep in mind I've had to take days off for personal reasons so I haven't had an honest 2 weeks out In a while. I'm considered an IC so taxes are my responsibility, but all I do is fuel, drive and unload.
I have made 3500 before and you average 4000-6000 every month gross. If you own your truck you make about 70%. I basically live in the truck it's an international 9600. A 2006 model. My boss let me wall mount a 32" flat screen for my xbox. I also have my own fridge and inverter and all of his trucks have dynasys apu's that we just got last month.
He he is looking for a driver so if you pm me I'll get you in touch with him. Days off are whenever you want but like all trucking, the more loads the more money. There are people who work 30 days and take a week off. -
Hi Arata954,
Do you have any idea what your truck makes? How far are your loads? How many loads can you do a day? What is your average wait time? What is the pay rate for wait time? Does it start as soon as you hit the well or after some time has elapsed?
Thank you -
I currently am working with Rocking C.
Do you still need any info on them? -
Do they hire Owner/Ops? How do they treat you? Thanks.

Yes, you can lease on with them. I think they now have around 150 leaser's.
Fair to midland. Lol
No their ok, like I said, a few office issues but I think with the latest changes they should get it all figured out soon. -
Well, I live in that area, and I see their trucks all the time. They always look real good and maintained. When I see the dark green with orange trim, I know it's Joe Brown. Since I live in the area, I guess it's no surprise that I know a few people who work there. They seem to really enjoy it. Apparently there is a new manager there who is making lots of positive changes, and they all seem to be pretty happy about it. I am happy where I am, but I know that if I ever need another trucking job, I'll probably be calling on Joe Brown.
