I pulled flatbed for a year plus. Then I jack knifed going down a icy 6% grade 8 months ago. Totalling the truck. Do you think I'm employable again.
Anyone know about my employability likelihood ?

After an accident like that, it might take a while, but? Probably will need to start with a company like swift, or England, to get your foot in the door, best of luck
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Try Western Express or Carolina Cargo.

Thanks guys I appreciate the advice. (I miss the wild Wild west truck stop!)

With Carolina Cargo you'll see lots of West Coast turns. That's all they do is West Coast turnarounds.
Good company for a second chance. Pay isn't too good, but it's a good place to start over. With milage pay, stop pay, on-time pay, fuel bonus pay, etc. added together it amounts to a little over $800.00 a week "take home."
Move to Las Vegas where the truck stop is. Cheap housing and cheap rent. I moved there a couple years ago mainly for the good weather year round.Last edited: Jan 24, 2015
