You live in the hiring area for some excellent jobs. Later, you can change if you want. Look at A&R Transport for the future, terminal in Decatur. Home weekends and make around $65K. Plenty of high paying jobs in Decatur and Bessemer.

I'm the same way about K-Mart. I wouldn't shop there if everything was 50% off.SonOfGrinder and skyviper73 Thank this.

Yeah I shop Lowes vs Home Depot. Mainly because it closer, but I'm a fan of Kobalt as well. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no discount with Home Depot?

I drove OTR for Schneider. I see that you are an experienced driver. Do not expect to be treated like an experienced driver at Schneider. You will understand this clearly within the first couple hours of the orientation.
If you can tolerate being micromanaged you may be ok. Expect alot of qualcom messages about how you and your fellow drivers are screwing up.
Never call into dispatch unless you are parked in a safe location with your truck. You also must have your elog in off duty status prior to calling. DBL's ( dispatchers) are required to verifiy this before speaking to you. They will pull you up on satellite to confirm your location.I am referring to an actual arial veiw of your vehicle, not gps coordinates.
Any other questions?SonOfGrinder Thanks this.
