Ha, Ha. You can stick your little referral bonus schtick somewhere dark. FYI, I don't go looking for them.

According to everything I've heard about SHS, supposedly it won't show up in a UA, or it won't show enough in your system to reach the threshold. But why take a chance?

Jasb750, if that CBD grade helps with your medical issues without the dangers the pills have, then I think that is great. It sucks you are forced to take unsafe pharmaceuticals which have long-term negative consequences. I have a family member who is a police officer in Colorado. He tells me that in Colorado, if a driver(CDL or not) gets pulled over while behind the wheel and gives probable cause to a cop and that cop conducts a field sobriety test for marijuana or other possible drugs(controlled or pharmaceutical)on that driver and that driver fails the field test, then the driver has to submit to a blood test to determine if they are DUI. If they refuse the blood test, they automatically have their license suspended. The blood test is not done in the field, but somewhere else by certified medical persons. That blood test supposedly confirms whether or not the driver in question is DUI. If that is how it is being done in Colorado, and it works 100% of the time, then I'm for that 100%. Such a test needs to be adopted by the DOT, if it really works that well.

The state I live in, Oregon, passed recreational marijuana legislation last November, and becomes law on July 1st this year. If a blood test can show 100% of the time whether or not a driver is DUI, then great. Do it! The DOT needs to address this issue. I myself have mixed feelings whether marijuana should be legal, recreationally. Only time will tell if it is an intelligent law. I myself believe using marijuana recreationally can screw up the life of a person. The same goes for alcohol. Moderation is essential. I myself have a fondness for bourbon. I can see that fondness could mess up my life.

Anyone else have an opinion on this post?

If you breath the smoke that's in the house it can show up but,you would have to breath a lot of it and chances that it will show are nil..

I read somewhere that a person has to have 50 units of THC in their urine sample for it to be considered a positive result. If it is 49 units or less it is considered negative. Anyone here the same or different?

In ten years, I see this plant being legal at the federal level. Ultimately all states will pass legalization and the federal law will become redundant. I would trust a guy who smokes weed on the weekends over the guy who slams a 5th of Jack Daniels on his 34 hour reset any day of the week. But weed and trucking is kind of like being pro choice for abortion and then trying to become a catholic priest ; they just don't mix together on any level. Even is every stoner could be safe driving , the appearance of substance abuse alone is enough to ensure that we will never be allowed to consume weed and operate a cmv.

It appears that every election year more states will be making pot legal for recreational use. The feds? Well maybe. I'm sure if/when Congress considers it the FMCSA will try to make truckers an exception. As far as the FMCSA and truckers, it probably won't happen until a quick, inexpensive and accurate test if developed for use at the side of the road. Like for alcohol blowing in the tube.
