Not that I'm aware of... we've always been a 10-speed manual outfit. However, the new Cascadia Evo package that Freightliner has been touting has a driveline package that's married to an automatic, so things could change. You might want to give leasing a call directly on that. PM me if you're serious about going that route.

If you come in with a CDL as an inexperienced driver, the first month you're running in TnT as a C-seat (that's about 20,000 miles.) You'd be paid $600 per week before taxes and deductions, and it was an automatic bump to B-seat and $700 per week after that.

Someone blowing smoke up your rear you are not an employee with prime until you get your cdl they will loan u 200 per week and once you start the TNT phase it is 700 pay a week pay and they take 25 a week to pay back any of the 200 a week they loaned you that you used if you don't use any of it they take it off your Comdata card

Do Prime company Trucks come equipped with Satelite radio or do they just come ready an you have to supply your own account an Receiver? Seen some on sale at Best Buy trying to purchase thingw ahead of time instead of Last minute. Picked up a Laminated Motor Carrier Rand McNally Road Atlas tonight

 

All trucks are equipped with AM/FM/CD/Sirius satellite receivers. You get to grease the wheels with an account and $$.

 

Future trucker here interested in driving for prime this summer but my question is how often do you guys do drop and hook? Just out of curiosity? Do you guys go to ship yards at all? And How often are you all dropping or picking up at ally docks? Thanks!

 

recently saw a comment about unemployment and how prime pretty much isn't gonna touch you if you are unemployed for some time. is this true? I just submitted my application but have been unemployed for little while doing some schooling. any knowledge on this would be great! THANKS

 

As long as you can show that you were enrolled in school you're fine. Explaining long stretches of unemployment- say 8 to 12+ months, is not going to get you in the door.
