That's about it for me. Nebraska to Western PA, and 90% of the time north of I-70. I told the carrier there is nothing west of I-25, the NEast still belongs to Britain, and FL still belongs to Spain. Been here 7 years and they have had no problem with that. I figure they can send their company trucks to all those areas if they want to play that game.
mp4694330 Thanks this. -
Most loadboard truckers focus on which state has better market price for vans, reefers, or flat.

Only talk I've heard around here about "no gliders" is related to port work. I can't see that happening as the vast majority of port work is done by clapped out junk. If a law was passed, or even an ordinance just for ports-there would be a whole lot less containers moving for a while.
I have seen folks get sweated for dirty exhaust before, only in nj to this point. -
Also: in relation to where folks "won't go" I have no problem with it and I am supportive of such behavior. 1 hopefully it gets those folks home more. 2 with more people "refusing" to come to my area, it lowers the amount of competition and therefore allows me to charge more for what I do.
rollin coal, russtrucker and Cowpie1 Thank this. -
Ports is not for me and my smokey t600.

I've heard about that in NJ, in fact we got a ticket down there with one of the older mechanical units. Just a fine if I remember, was a long time ago now. My old truck would smoke out like a freight train if you leaned into it hard, I just went easy on the go pedal in jersey, never had a problem
