Hehehe. No, unfortunately I've had my share of various tickets. I can't imagine anyone driving in ON, NY, QC, PA, without tickets but maybe there are some. My record shows 1 speeding ticket in the last 5 yrs, but only because I defend it against the revenuer man.

You all can rack up yer zillion incident and ticket free miles in those wide open spaces. The rest of us will log the tough miles.

I got a ticket at a no turn on red light. I was on my motorcycle and sat there for 10 minutes but the light wouldn't change. This was at like 2am coming home from Maine. I went to court and the judge dismissed it.

Ok guys, the original owner operator gave me a call back today saying he was able to work me into insurance. So, he gives me the option to run van or flat, said the rates are similar for him right now and offered 25%, pretty standard I think. Having run on flatbed since I started driving seven years ago, should I make the switch? I enjoy flatbedding, but I've heard van work is easier on the body. However I was a lumper before a driver and know it's not always the case, also worried about the difference between a 48' spread and sliding tandems. I just center a load and weigh it to know I'm good now. The owner recommended dry van side. I guess my question is how difficult is the learning curve? I don't want to start out for an owner being a noob again for very long.
