Hello again. I put together a little basic video on completing hours of operation forms for HotShot Drivers. It's important to keep daily reports updated throughout the work day and so I thought this may be helpful.

I am not understanding what you are saying makes logging for a Hot Shot any different than logging anything else? Besides not having a Sleeper I log the same as when I was class 8 and am perfectly legal. After 20 years am I missing something?

You might want to fix your link. I've never heard of "youtu.be"
-
The link works fine.

Right, that is the point there is no difference. we don't log hours in sleeper unless we have a sleeper that passes regulations. the video is intended for new drivers. I see many posts asking a lot of questions regarding log books. I have been only operating a hotshot for a few years and have had my share of inspections, this is not to say that I can compete with somebody with 20 years of experience, but I hope to help some of the new drivers out.

Yes, that was the link youtube provided when I click the "share option". the full link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dggACbVCd0s&feature=youtu.beSleepy68 Thanks this.

Tryed to watch it, could not stay awake.
-
maybe you can put something together? btw "Tryed" is spelled Tried. maybe a bit sleepy from the video.
-
Way to much information, just keep your logs to the DOT minimum, no need to share so much personal information.

ChezzyK, I for one apperciate all your detailed videos.
Been driving pickup and flat bed truck the last five years for a company here in Houston but now am in the planning stages to get under my own authority and pull a trailer, within a couple months here, like you are doing.
So again, I really apperciate all your videos, they are a big help. thanks.
