Knights been getting some transfers out of leesport.

 

Yeah, no big deal either way. Will just take the transfer to a mattress account out of alabama until they decide if i have to. Know they are swamped, melanie in recruiting said they were so far behind on web applications she emailed me a 2nd to fill out after i had filled out the one online. Lol, didnt even want to look for it.

 

Well it has shaped up this week to be 3200 miles and 6 d/h and 1 mgt fee, not to bad, now when I get to Advance if they could have my home load loaded. Should be home Saturday afternoon.

Had one of the Fl drivers way up in Syracuse NY, he was not happy, no white sand beaches or palm trees, Ill post some pictures of his back hual, in Pa, it was not good==LOL He was having a bad week---LOL

Had another driver there today Advance , they told him they could not get his home load ready because they ran out of 48 ft trailers======!

Haven't heard from him since, will up date fri---LOL

 

They are having problems with the web app, some peoples apps are being filtered out, for little or no reason or as little as a wrong date, fill out the paper app only!

 

Better than me. Come out sunday cause they goyta get loads out. Go to leesport to pittsburgh for mon morning get there sunday night and they have no empty. I sat for 17 hrs finally at 1 adriver showed up. All they had to say was nothing we can do about it. I will end up 6 days with 2750 and 20 drops.
They dont pay enough for the area we run and keeping us sucked in the same runs is no treat. Atleast flyingmusician gets to tour down south a bit.

 

You got layover pay for that, right? For setting 17 hrs!

Well as they have told me, it will change-----I use to run Frm Fl, to ecru, to Houston to Ecru to home, with some Chicago, Arcadia, and Atlanta put in the mix, but that has changed.

When the addition, is done in Advance and they double there size, and they can stand on there own 2 feet, it will change again. LOL

But you always call and talk to them, to see if they can set you up with a different route, they done it--will not hurt to ask.

 

They could pay $2 a mile it wouldn't be enough for me to run your routes day in and day out lol

that rotation every few weeks is bad enough. Was 25 minutes short of making Leesport last night I'm in Harrisburg now. Guess that explains why I didn't get a plan home yesterday while I was rolling. That lot was pretty bare last Friday when I was there. Decided to just sleep in this morning no point in rolling in to Leesport 0630 with no plan home and then sit there with the clock running.

Push them hard for the layover if they didn't offer.

Did I ever mention I hate snow? lol ugh I don't see how you do it.

if I get the expected transfer load back home I'll end up with 2890. Shortest week of the month.

 

On the layover thing, if you haven't got it , you still have time to get it, just call in a explain what had happen, you may have to talk to Helen, if you get any push back do not take no for an answer and just claim you didn't know how it worked, they will give it to ya.

I rested a little longer this morning myself, at the first rest area on 85 just south of Richmond, don't have my home load yet either, called in last night and asked them to leave a note for my home load person to get it in to Advance so it would be ready when I get there this afternoon, hope they have trailers today-----

I have been lite in the mileage area most of the month--in the 2500-2700 zone, but I'll take that break, laid off hounded them for more miles, taking a break, but they ran me this week.

Headed to Pepsi Cherryville , And I am sure to deadhead to Advance, then to FL, and a ride on the big bike this weekend-----in my shorts--
