Did he ever say where his 5th wheel was set at?
-
#1 rule to follow here at TTR... Never admit to screwing up. You'll be hung for it over and over again.
Whether he scaled it or not, he's just asking how he can fix his problem. He never posted anything about needing sympathy, he just needs advice!
My advice is to break the seal and try to move things around. There's a chance the load will be rejected, but it's better than sitting at the scale watching everyone fly by.DoneYourWay, EZX1100 and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
We gave him 10 pages of advice. He's still sitting at the scale

i noticed that some time ago
never admit to any wrongdoing at TTR
not driving over your hours, not rolling thru a stop sign, not forgetting to sign your logbook
we have the prima donnas of trucking industry here, always ready to kick a man while he is down, and run over him with a bus -
Doesn't anyone thing he can scale "legal" by adjusting the air in the front trailer axle? Think they will catch him?
One time I blew an air bag on my trailer and was dumping air like crazy. I bobtailed to buy some fittings and some hose IIRC and just cut off the air to the rear bags. -
He says he just got his lisence back. Not sure what that's about but tough to leave without a CDL.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

he knows he may have to buy that load of chicken, depending on who is at the receiving end
back in my reefer days, chicken loads were always a priority, as long as its rock hard frozen and YOU get to break the seal, nobody has to be the wiser
i was late to a Costco and Walmart load with some tyson chicken, NEVER have i been given such preferential treatment when late. they didnt care, they didnt "work me in", as soon as i arrived they took the loads
and mr OP needs to stop telling people what happens on the road, as we say, what goes on on the road, stays on the roadNavigatorWife and Leftlane101 Thank this. -
...should've done a pre-trip
-
The last time I was held up at the coop they held my license inside to keep me from driving off if they got busy. I reckon I look like I have rabbit in my blood.Leftlane101, mslashbar, double yellow and 1 other person Thank this.
