My right marker light burned right off on a 2015 WITHOUT popping a breaker of fuse they did a so called upgraded harness and lights which are more yellowish than factory... Like deming807 I'll be out of this one in a few years as well I don't feel it's built well enough to last a million without dumping a lot into to it ... I love driving it but too many things done cheaply to last on the rough roads I run
-
Another bad design is the windshield if you crank defrost on a cold winter day to keep ice from building on glass it cracks from bottom to top I broke one in a ice storm and a buddy broke two.. The glass is too thin and chips or cracks easy least on the 2015 models

I haven't really had many days with ice covering it. Sometimes i do feel like its built cheap though.
-
wow, its definitely not built for rough road.

Comparing to volvo its ok. I could say more than ok. The problem is, as I said earlier, component's quality is inconsistent. In a good passenger car every detail match others. No even close here.

I never froze it that much.
I have TriPac and Espar D4 (!) installed. D4 on 1st speed gives as much heat as D2 on 4th ("High"). This winter I never turned tripac off completely. I did turn off Heat, but left Vent Mode On to charge butteries and keep coolant warm. Still, i never had windshield completely frozen. But my windshield already has 5 or 6 stone cracks - the more you try to drive carefully the more stones you catch: most stones I catch from vehicle passing me on freaking left lane.

It's funny that you mention that as we have one T680 in our fleet and we have replaced the windshield 3 times on it from it cracking.

One more update from me:
TriPac Evolution on my t680 also turned 1 year. This is complicated multy-part device but all these 12 months it worked flawlessly. The one and only thing that failed has happened just yesterday: Espar's glow pin cracked and refused to ignite fuel in burner. It cost me $170 on TK Dealer, cos I was stupid enough to not take a spare Glow Pin form home (bought a bunch of them on ebay, ~$80). Other than that absolutely no problem.
BTW, when I disassembled D4 I was surprised about how clean Glow Pin Screen (filter mesh mixing fuel and air) and all other internals were. My previous D2 was complete disaster and I was afraid to deal with Espars again.Grijon Thanks this.
