advice about Shaffer

    I am new to this site just not new to driving. Was wondering what the running verdict on Shaffer trucking is. I'm seeing posts from 2007 and it's 2015. Any advice opinions or help???

    The last that I heard is that Shaffer/Crete have installed cameras in all of their trucks that are inside of the cab facing the driver.

    Not true. A small % of trucks have cameras. Most of the new trucks do not have cameras.

    Not true. Some of the new ones do have cameras, but it is nowhere near all of them.

    I appreciate the answers guys. I'll be passing on Shaffer for now. Where I haven't been on the road in so long they want me to do 6 weeks with a trainer which means 6 weeks away from my son. I'm going to go with CoreTrans here in Somerset and do local for a few months....which is actually just short haul within KY.....then I'll weigh my options then. Thanks!
