Truck Stop Bums

Yeah, they all work for the same company. Even get vacation and sick leave benefits. . .

 

Kids that live in the trailer park to the south of that area are well known to bum money off of drivers especially in the Pilot and Petro lots. They have quite a racket going on. That entire area is basically their "playground".

Last time I gave money I was approached by a woman giving the usual "sob" story. Told her all I had was 60 cents and was saving it for a soda. She still wasn't shy asking for it. Then she pulls a sack out of her tote bag full of change that must have weighed a good 20 pounds and says in a complaining manner "dang... all I'm getting is change today" while shuffling off to hit her next target.
