I just got off the phone with Trimac and have a sit down interview with them on Monday. It's considered a local gig out of the Lansing IL terminal. If anyone has info on that terminal I would greatly appreciate it

Is your buddy out of Lansing? The phone interview left plenty of questions to be answered so hopefully they're straight with me in the face to face. The more offers I have, the more leverage I have. Air Products is now my first choice over Airgas

Not out of Lansing. Forget which terminal.

That would be correct. They can do little more than light maintenance in the company shops (national tank services) on your Truck.
You have to go to Freightliner for anything remotely complicated.
I am still trying hard to try to navigate the company culture.
They are very good at Operations (dispatch finding loads etc).

They are amazing at pay day and driver utilization like Storm said. I have never made better money than I make now.
With that said, if these maintenance issues don't improve I might move on. I am getting extremely tired of these old trucks. They absolutely must buy some new ones and if I don't see at least a couple of new ones in the next couple of months.....well let's just say I'll be unmotivated. But also like Storm said, the shop either can't or won't do much before they send it to FL and then you won't see it again for at least a week.
In all fairness, I have to say the maintenance is hurting morale around here and you should know that.Stormdriven Thanks this. -
I'm looking at Superior and Trimac when I finish class in the summer. Have the maintenance issues with Trimac improved since last year? Thanks!
