Yrc is all I say..maybe OD and FedexF..
-
Volpe express after 45 hours
Infosaur Thanks this. -
in your area? Lakeville Motor Express, Standard Forwarding, Holland, YRC Freight, ABF, UPS Freight, Conway, FedEx. there might be other regional smaller freight lines in your area as well, offering overtime.
the ones I listed also pay OT after 8/40. if a carrier only pays OT after 40, its a screw job, because every time you take a day off on Monday or Friday for a long weekend, you usually get screwed, as pto at these places usually is not counted towards your OT pay. -
What about Dayton?
-
oh yeah, I think they do as well, as does pitt ohio, although pitt ohio and Dayton probably only pay ot after 40, not after 8/40...

Cool thanks for the info man

Sutton, their near Milwaukee and also down here their ads here say 20+ hr. and ot
-
if you are willing to make the trek to Chi town, from what I understand, most local cartage companies are under an area agreement with the union, no doubt they have OT after 8/40, probably great bennies and retirement as well. you are in a pretty good area for trucking if you want OT pay, instead of mystery percentage, or a low cpm....

Yea chicago is a little far for me.. Milwaukee has so many LTL companies and almost every one is hiring. It's hard to decide who to apply to though. Just looking for a good place that I can finally call home and maybe retire from one day even tho I'm only 26
