Do any brokerage companies out there supply any trailers?

Check power loads on load boards posted by brokers.

I see Landstar trailers being pull by independent motor carriers.

As mentioned, there are PO (power only) loads on boards. That means that you are to pull a trailer from point A to point B. Sometimes you return the trailer to point A and sometimes you just leave it at point B. Otherwise, you probably need to lease on with one of a dozen fair companies that either have you pull one of their trailers or let you lease/purchase your own. Most of these companies will pay you a percentage of any load you haul (from 67% - 80% or more). Do a little research and I'm sure you will find what you are looking for.

Some reefer freight brokers provide trailers

Trailer is your moneymaker. Power only is one off stuff. You only take it when someone pays a little over round trip rate for you to bobtail back to your trailer. Considering how many independents will tell you $1.30 a mile is good money it's not often that you see power only pay even $2 per mile which is less than a half rate. Although Dice has his own authority and is power only. He has direct customers though. Loadboards for power only is a quick way to the poor house. Some brokers offer "load out power only" where a dealer maybe bought a large lot of used trailers and wants them shipped cheap as possible. Load out I'd where the broker says ok, pick up this empty trailer in Denver, CO and I will pay you a $1,000 to deliver it to Atlanta, GA. You have 20 days to get it there. And so you go and book loads working your way to Atlanta and make money with the trailer before you deliver it. But this is one off freight too.
