Dems and rep's are two wings of the same bird. They both r servents, salves, of the corporations.

Dems support the invasion of the USA by third world people whom r driving down wages on one hand and providing cheap labor and new consumers on the other hand for republicns!

Both have become the enemy of the working citizens of the USA.

You are absolutely right. The only real difference between the two parties is the spelling of the party names. Want to know the truth about life, just watch the old movie, "Wag the Dog!"

Are all the people confused by the issues? You bet they are because they can't see through all the smoking mirrors.

So why do people always follow losers?

In the USA where there are many opportunities, why do people flock to political promises that always get them the same old thing?

Why can't people learn to accept life as it is and as the old saying goes, "If you can't beat them, join them!"

When will the people realize who's side Politicians are on? When someone throws dirt on their coffins.

Business is the business of America and yet most people are slaves to society: Big Business, Big Banking and Politicians.

You are all bought and paid for and if you don't like the price then you have to learn how to deal in the business world.

Who will? Very few in numbers. Many of which will become very wealthy.

Why? You look in the mirror and tell me.

When the people decide to lead the leaders will have to follow. Until then it is jut TAX, TAX, TAX and it really amazes me how people flock to those who offer little to nothing, but when someone offers the world for a little time and effort, everyone gets angry, or goes and hides!

    Want change? I don't think so!:biggrin_2552:

So who's the worst of them? The Leaders or the slaves?

Are you under a contract with USA? They are only one of the Driver Solutions "network" of trucking companies that offer to "sponsor" your training. What a scam! It's an entire "network" of bottom feeders. They not only live off the blood of new drivers, but the blood of the drivers' families as well.

Think about it, the youth of today never lived through the Jimmy Carter era with high unemployment, high interest rates & a depleted military.

Ya, your right there was high unemployment. If you can call it that. It was 7.5%, sometimes a little more. Only 2.5% above the unemployment rate as it is now. But there were good jobs, indusrty, good pay, good benifits, and unemployment when we were unemployed. Our money stayed in the our country. The inflation then was caused by the samething as it is now, OIL, and our countries lack of intrest in developing new alternatives has con't this problem to this today. If you want to know who could to better or how we could have done better look to Brazil. Brazil is energy independent.

Compare then to now 5.2% unemployed. Those that are employed are employed by WalMart, fast food places, and resturants, these have become our great new industries. Just last week McCain stood in front of a banner that said, 'Resturants. The corner stone of America." What the heck, this America? Oh, ya we do have a new industry to replace the old industry. We have the police and prison industry. Police, border patrol, TSA, ICE, courts, probation, jails, prison's, parole. This our new clam to fame.

    :biggrin_25521:

Now we don't have a depleted military. We have a hyper miliatary. $100 million air craft, a military that is paid, $1,300.00 a mo for a boot, $2,000.00 to $4,000.00 for a sargent. Is this the new praetorian guard?

This of topic. Sorry. I couldn't resist putting my 2 cents in on this point.

Some facts about the Jimmy Carter era. Unemeployment was 10 to 11%, the national average even when times are good ranges between 4.5 to 5.5%. Job lay offs, so called good jobs such as mine with Hyster Corporation & the likes of Caterpillar. The military which I spent 15 years active duty & active reserve from 1974 through Gulf War I, with college in between on my VA benifits, which helped me get through the Jimmy Carter era at $650.00 per month. Interest rates from 18 to 21%, could only afford a mobile home at the time paying 18.5%. Jimmy Carter froze all military wages during his tenure & cut the military budgets for new systems. Yes, I agree oil was the culprit back then as it is now, however, every alternative over these past 10 to 20 years for drilling or creating has been stifled by environmental laws. From Montana coal which has more oil than the entire middle east along with the shale in Colorodo locked up do to environmentalist. All off shore drilling including Alaska, locked up do to environmentalist. The oils there, we need to let them drill. One of the biggest costs associated with producing fuels is the change over refineries must make for different blends & locals. We need to refine the gas & diesell at their lowest standard for all locals, which would eliminate the need for conversion thus lowering the cost.

I would agree. We need to, we should, and can know go for our own oil in all it's forms along with solar and wind.
