Just graduated from Driving School and don't have the required experience and want to stay local. I was advised to apply for a casual Dock position at Holland and go through their Driver Finishing School. Anyone familiar with the program?

Where are you from. In my area they might put you on. They can't find drivers, signs and radio commercials all the time

I bet they would take you on as a Local driver and work with you. Its not hard to get an LTL city job anymore, People just don't want to work anymore. Just keep your nose clean. How do drivers show up to apply at a Union Home nightly job and they can't pass a Drug test? thats the crap thats getting into our industry today

Thanks for the reply. I think the dock to driver is the best route to take. Will keep you posted.
