I need some information for a glider kit that i am building. I am looking for someone that has a C-12 with a Generation 4 allison that can hook up to the trans and tell me the CIN number so that I can have a Trans computer built for me. The Glider kit I was originally going to put a manual in since that was what the donor truck was but due to the lack of driver pool being able to shift I opted for the automatic and this is the last piece of the Puzzle. A CIN # from a Gen 4 Allison Computer. I will Pay for the help.
    thanks
    kevin

I drove an allison back in the 70s, as a young man I did not like it. As I grew older and the allison evolved, the thought of matching a C12 to an allison or the cat CX-31 is very interesting. If I was younger I would be very interested in building this type of glider.

Hope you get the info your looking for.

I know of one of our contractors back in NC who ran a Cat engine (although I don't know what model) with an Allison in a T800 quad axle dump... I believe he's since retired, but I will try to call him tomorrow and see if he can give me this information. That setup was also used in some City of Colorado Springs equipment, so I'll try that angle, as well.

not exactly the combo your looking for, but Richardson Brothers contracting in Olds Alberta
has or at least had a T800 with a C15 and an Alison their phone number is 403 556 6366
the truck was still in service 2 years ago, the guy who drove is then was Donovan.
the truck worked well, I had to work to keep up to him with a similar T800 with an 18, although I drove that truck like an O/O and he was hammer down.

Thanks. I'll look into it and see if I can use C-15 vs C-12 programming.

The guy I knew in NC had a C11 with his Allison, and had no idea how to get that info. Hit a dead end with City of Colorado Springs, as well... they privatized fleet maintenance, and the contractor wants to act like what I was asking for was a matter of national security.
