If you change bearings only should be around $175 or so per wheel. If you do bearings and races it runs about $250 per. Those are TA/Petro prices. Parts only cost about $90Big Lou Thanks this.

might not need new bearings depends on how loose for how long
Big Lou Thanks this. -
just tighten it. oh if it little loose when its cold that's good
-
do it asap or you'll be calling the axle doctor (surgeon) when it fails and need a new spindle. :/
Big Lou Thanks this. -
Hear here. Number one cause of bad spindles is wheel bearings out of whack. Don't think that they're cheap either, front spindles can run up to $1800 per spindle in parts alone.

A little loose is never good, cold or not. pull the axles and if the oil isn't metallic looking you should be ok snugging them up. However if your already that far might as well pull and inspect races for pitting and just replace. Too cheap of a part to leave you stranded.

That's what I figured might as well just do it if they are off. Was just curious on how much I was looking at for cost. Thanks everyone!

Front axle bearing on one side, and tightening loose one on drive ( new nut ) run me 400. I was quoted 550 for front only by some other shop.

bearing and race set is like 60 X 2 sets so like 120 for parts for one wheel.
