and i did say highway 20 -132 but i dont know from where in ohio you start. -
Make sure your speed limiter is set to 105 kph. IIRC that is a $400-$500 fine.
No spread axles allowed on a 53 ft trailer.
There are limits on truck wheel base but I forget what they are now. I think anything over 244" requires a $300 annual permit. I got dinged earlier this winter for pulling a 53 with a 255" WB. PM me if you like and I can e-mail you the weights and measurement guide.
Not sure what route you're taking but if you go through Montreal take the bypass....Exit #14 south off Autoroute 20 to RT 30 back to A-20. That takes you through the town of Valleyfield.
Don't be anywhere near Toronto or Montreal during the AM or PM rush. 06:00 - 09:30 and 15:00 - 19:00
If you're taking I-90 E to I-81 N be warned that complete whiteouts are common from Syracuse to Watertown. There was a 40 vehicle wreck last Friday. Anything under 10 vehicles isn't newsworthy.Last edited: Feb 9, 2015

Didn't a Canadian court suspend that speed limiter regulation?
-
An Ontario Court upheld a owner operators right to stop them from tapping into his data port unless the DOT signed a waiver that made DOT liable for any damage to truck computer. Last I heard the Ontario DOT was still checking and was planning to appeal.
