I have been reading posts on here and had applied with Magnum. Today, I got the call from Paul saying all my background stuff was back and has set me up for orientation on March 2. I will say that I am really excited and honored that I will be coming on board with what seems to be a great company. Since I am a brand new driver what should I bring with me?

 

Hello Magnum drivers. I'm interested in applying to Magnum. Is this really one of the best reefer companies out there? If so, could you tell me why? TYVM.

 

I have only been here two weeks, but my first full week here Thursday to Thursday I ran 3200 miles and that's with a 34 at the house. They have great equipment, pre plan you on your next load or loads days in advance. And pay you way above the national avg, especially as a student you could go to some starter company and make way less in sub par equiptment, and be just a number somewhere else. I have been out here 14 years, and I do my research when changing jobs, Magnum was on my short list. It's early, but no regrets this far.

 

Can anyone give any more insight on orientation? No doubt more paperwork than buying a house and drug screening but what about driving test and such?
