You'll only get out of NY on Tuesday if you're pulling a load with a snow mobile.
Or if your truck has a plow attached on the front end with a set of ice skates for wheels.

 

freaking Pennsylvania is a gold mine man! I try to avoid it but I end up back here every few days now.
Picking up a load near knoxville going around 700 miles all miles at $1.90 there.
Then picking up a shortie paying $4.74 picking up in the same town going 104 miles staying within PA

 

That is because a lot of drivers have no desire to go there. Gotta bribe the willing, (you), to go there to do the dirty work.

 

I hate PA, the sucky hills and have no desire to go there but for the right price I'll go anywhere

Thought you were in it for the freedom and not the money. You're starting to sound like it's all about the money like the rest of us.

 

I am in it for the freedom but remember I put $5k down on this truck, then spent $4k on a cruise and took well I'd say 3 weeks off.. that's another over $3k I'm in the hole with and weeks of no income. I was only off 2 weeks and a couple days but I took a load out of Florida which only paid for the fuel lol.
Sooo I'm trying to play catch up with my money my now. Averaging close to $2 a mile running back and forth to PA area helps.

 

Oh don't get me wrong do it for the money we all do I just got a chuckle when you said you'd go anywhere for the right amount. Good luck and congratulations.

 

How are the T680s running. I want to get one this year, but I can't stand the negative reputation it's getting on the forum. I drove one for 200k miles and had not one drive train problem.

I want to get one this year and keep it for the long run.

 

well duh this is a job
but I want to enjoy my life also.
Sure $2800 weeks are nice but I can take it easy and make $1400 with a couple days off I'd be happy too.
Running hard into PA all the time isn't fun.. once I catch up a bit on my money I'll fart around elsewhere.
Once the Spring comes I'm going to head out west, I'm tired of seeing all the same places.
