@ Florida Girl- I take it that you and your husband drive for Sunstate? I have a few questions if you don't mind?
-What do you Sunstate drivers deal with for freight?
-Are you guys on e-logs yet?
-Do much in the way of drop n hook loads?
I see Sunstate quite a bit passing through Pittsburgh on I-79 going some where.

Yes my hubby did drive for sunstate, 2 days from his 90 days they said he broke a company policy but could not tell him what he did, I think it was because the last 2 weeks he was there the miles were terrible, sat in mass for 3 days no load, no money there. they have e logs and people net(like qualqam) they also use transflo but they charge the driver 2.00 for every one they send whats up with that. also they take 25.00 out each paycheck until 200.00 and then when you leave they tell you oh by the way we ,ail you a check in 45 days. small co big click if your not in it guess what your not one of the big mile guys. they seemed like a pretty good co. but they want someone who no matter what will just say ok I will wait until tomorrow for a load, everyone of uoi guys are out there to make a paycheck and you only do that if you get those miles. sad to say he wasnt after the fgirst 4 weeks. good luck oh no drop and hooks all reefer you can get 25.00 a day for your personal use. hope this helps

You went to work for them? I heard lots of Northeast and no EZPass. Not to mention the bad weather the NE is getting pounded with this year.
Do they have work to keep a driver busy?
How do they treat their drivers? -
Run away. Dont unless you like sitting at truck stops broke and hungry

Sunstate carriers is not a driver friendly company. Dishonest owners, poor management, terrible dispatches. Lowest pay in the industry. No detention, drivers charged for tolls. High cost cheap health insurance. Few new trucks, rest of fleet infested with roaches and fleas. Stay away from this company.KB3MMX Thanks this.
