I saw something almost supernatural tonight, and it still has me wondering about it

You've sort of led an "interesting" life, haven't you?:biggrin_25524:

I was sort of thinking the same thing. Now if the flashers were on, that would possibly make a difference, although I've seen many cases of drunks zeroing in on flashing lights as well.

This happens to me all the time. And when it does it's usually 2 to 4 a.m., I have been up for 15 to 16 hours, and I am jacked up on caffeine.

There is a grave yard in Mass, that has green lights dotted around. Clearly electric lights ment to spook people? Be my guess. First time driving by , did catch ones eye!

Does anybody else hear "The X-Files " music? In all my years of driving, most of which was at night, only once did I see something I couldn't explain. Coming from Wis. Rapids, Wis. late at night, million stars out, I notice 3 bright white lights, bigger than stars, on an angle, perfectly spaced and staying in one place for maybe 10 minutes. As I drove along, one of the lights disappeared, but reappeared shortly later, in the same spot, then all 3 disappeared, fast. When I told my friend, whose truck I was driving, he said his daughter, coming home from work, saw them too.:biggrin_25524:

It would be a good ghost story and wound make you think twice, that's for sure.

But it is a very good night time safety feature for night time operations.
This idea would save lives and prevent accidents.
how many times have you heard of a rear end accident on the highway involving a abandoned trailer with no lights on at all? Quite a few I bet.
At least it saved you by been quite visible at night and made you change lanes. If it was not lite up before hand you would be either slammed in to the back of the trailer or have to make a very quick emergency lane change with a possibility of an accident with another vehicle or loss of control if you we half asleep.

Face it, it woke you up, and saved you ###.

Your very lucky that night, someone had that trailer lights hookd up light that.

It have saved many a life that night and you not even know it.

This is what you will see when you ain't slept in a long, long time.

One time, many years ago, going up I-95 in CT, I saw many, many people standing along side the shoulder. I thought a Greyhound bus must have broken down, and they were walking.

It was winter, and lightly snowing, it was about 2 AM, I thought oh my God, they will either get hit or freeze out there.

As soon as I woke up, what I really was seeing is small trees with snow on them, and the falling snows made it look like they were walking.

SO pull over next time, and take either a power nap, or longer!

Stolen, tipped over by the slipstream off of traffic, or smashed by the idiot that almost hit the parked trailer with the lights on. All possible but no one here really knows.

Hooking the lights is fairly simple, and hooking a flasher up to just the right lights would be a bit more difficult.

That's it!? i was expecting something really supernatural like a Swift driver backing into a spot first time or a Western Express truck without accident damage or a CRST driver throwing his diet coke out the window and drinking out of his piss bottle.
