I know someone who works there. They pay by stop and mileage. They pay a minimum of $1100 so if the math is under you get $1100 regardless. All dedicated routes and the opportunity for extra work. He said the have optional work every saturday and some sundays. Making $60k there is easy and $70k+ is feasible if you work saturdays etc

 

what are the benifits like? 401k w/ match? med ? vacation time? job and pay sound good but would like to have some more info.

 

I don't partake in the 401 as I have investments elsewhere, insurance seems good, didn't do eye or dental. I don't go to the eye doctor and is cheaper to just pay the dentist for a yearly cleaning verses the monthly premium. As far as vacation, I don't take time off, but the other 3 guys at the DC I run out of take time off often. Both just got back from a week each. I like it, I don't have any complaints. I never hear the other guys complain either. Nothing is perfect but this is as close as I've come in 23yrs of driving.

They match up to 5% or $1500 a year. Insurance i hear is okay. Dont know what they offer for vacation time besides one week after one year and you get paid holidays.

 

Insurance is aetna. Cost is fine. Not free like I've had, but not terrible like I've had.

 

Some states they use United. Pay etc can vary state to state also.

 

United Healthcare is terrible to deal with. That would have been a deal breaker for sure.

 

Are all of their trucks automatics?
