I shower everyday. The only time I have not showered are days when I get on a back road through NV or OR and I run out of time to make it to a truck stop. Does not happen often. Never have gone longer than a day and half without one. I can count on 1 hand that had happened. I'll use my 30 minute lunch to take a shower if I am stopping to fuel on those days.

The only problem with hitting a gym is it located near a truck stop or find parking in a lot near one. Those parking lots are not made for a 70 ft tractor and trailer. You would have time. It would be easier running near a truck stop and bringing weights with you in the truck.

169 miles yesterday. Got to my 22:00 appointment. Unloaded me in about 1.5 hours. Had to wait for paperwork 2.5 hours. You have to go inside the warehouse and they post your paperwork next to your dock door after they are done unloading you and you get the green light. After an hour of no movement in the truck, I walk inside to see if they put the paperwork is there but they had left the red light on. No. I ask the forklift driver and he said waiting on the receipt for the lumper service. Ok. After another hour wait, repeat. Same answer. Now after 1/2 hour, I walk over to the lumpers office and told them I am waiting on my receipt, she looks through the pile of paperwork, finds mine on the bottom. She does her thing with the T check and hand me my receipt. 5 minutes and I am done. Walk back to my truck and I magically have the green light. Grocery loads gotta love them. Almost as much as Coke.

TAH for the next 2 days.

I delivered a grocery load to SLC yesterday. In and out in 5.5 hours. Waste of time.

I've stopped there before. I parked along the road about a block away though. Lots of parking on the road on the way into town, but next time maybe I'll do as you do and park behind the Vons. I bought me some expensive groceries at that place.

They are kinda spendy in there. I just spent $40.00 in there and not much to show for it. When I am headed North, I will park in the lot across from their gas station for my 30 minute break and walk a few blocks and eat.

We've done pretty good so far. 5200 miles this week ending Sunday morning in Sumner, WA. even though we were home until tuesday night. Got a pre-assignment taking us from Sumner to S.C.. Light load (18K) so I am looking forward to a strong week.

    Stay safe!!
