Online gaming on the road.

Would you suggest using your phone as a hot spot or another device?

 

This is for T-Mobile. I have a Note 3 as of right now.

 

FYI as a side note. There is a site called "Humble Bundle" where developers offer up substantial game packs for dirt cheap. They will not be the newest (like this month) games, but they will be name titles offered for charity. You basically name your own price for the current "bundle" and the average goes up in a live chart as more people buy it. For instance, the current bundle is a Star Wars bundle with like 8 titles for $12 bucks right now and all 10 titles for $22 bucks. As more people buy the bundle, the average price to unlock them goes up, so if you buy on the first day of the bundle, you can get 5-10 games for like $5. The vast majority of them unlock on STEAM as well and it will tell you ahead of time which ones will or will not.

It's a pretty huge thing, for those who have not stumbled upon it. For instance, this current Star Wars deal is approaching a half-million sold as I write this.

At the end when you check out, you choose what percentage goes to the game developers, what goes to the current charity, and a tip for the site server people who run it.

I use to play Eve Online while on the road, came off the road for 18 months to take a job with Waste Management. When I went back OTR Verizon no longer had the unlimited data air card, and I wasn't going to waste my data blowing up pixel space ships. Now I just play single player games on my Xbox one and laptop while out on the road.

 

add a Wilson Electronics 4g/lte signal boost amp and the truckers antenna to go with it. You'll have signal just about anywhere you go and good data speeds.
