Any suggestions or leads would be much appreciated . BTW I did get hired at a Co called central transport. But I couldn't accept the $15 hr pay So I politely declined.
Thanks

I hear you that's the florida rate, estes truck lines is paying 18$ or more everywhere else nd pay about 15$ in florida like really, there is really not a lot out there.

Thanks for the reply... I heard SEFL paid around $18 to start I just filled out a app online. Funny Im old school I would rather pound the pavement and shake hands and have a chance to sell my self/skills. This online crap is garbage. But most seem to insist it and frown upon walk ins..
Thanks
I have not had to look for a job in 20 yrs... This sucks.... Thanks again.Shaggy Thanks this. -

Use the internet to find the local terminals. When you get their location, grab the phone and address so you can either call or drop by, if they permit that. Most won't scoff at at least a phone call. Web searches are important in order to search LTL companies by zip code to see how many are close by to your residence. All you need is a good list of LTL companies.

Conway and Saia LTL both have terminals in Fort Myers area.

Thanks Actually Ft Myers is about 2.5 hrs from me. However Saia has a terminal in Miami "About 1 hr" and Conway has a local terminal in Pompano which I sent in a resume.SRQGhost said: ↑Conway and Saia LTL both have terminals in Fort Myers area.Click to expand...

No state income tax in Florida. Rates look lower on paper, but in reality its comparable to rates nationwide. Plus, you pay for that nice weather year round. HA!!!! Good Luck.
Buckeye91 Thanks this.
