    Who knows cheap OR permit? I worked in a company before, their OR permit is only 8/ year. Flat. OR dot website is 43/ 10 days.

    What permit are you trying to get. You won't get anything cheaper than getting it directly from the state of ORegon. They are easy to work with. Just call them up.

    Vehicle identification temporary pass.
    I know dot is 43/ 10 days, but a company I leased to , their one year or permit is only 8/ year. That is a big difference.
    So anybody know the information?

    You probably mean weight permit,that is a must in OR,the ticket for this is close to a 600$,they run every license plate when u go 2mph thru the scale.If they dont find any violations in the past 2 years in tha state,its a warning the 1st time.Its around 8$ for a year.

    I checked them again. The 8 dollars one is OR weigh receipt and tax identifier, it can't get fuel discount in OR but can run anywhere in OR. The 58 dollars one is viechel identifition temperory pass, it can get fuel discount but it only for ten days and only can run the road when you apply.So anyone knows the diff? And which one is the permit must buy in OR?

    I always get the trip permit. I call and give them my route and how much I weigh, they give me price, I pay with card. They send it to me email. I'm good to go.

    Oregon isn't part of IFTA, they don't charge any state fuel tax on diesel to trucks, but they do to personal vehicles, that's what they mean by discount.

    OP, the company you leased to most likely had a bond filed with OR. If you travel through there often, you might want to do the same.

    Yes. These two permits are both good to go in OR. I just want to know the difference and which is better.
