there are many truckstops where you cannot tell which way is which

(of course, having four other trucks facing the opposite way, should give you a clue)

...and you don't see those four other trucks until you have pulled in. What would you have us do, back out into the street and come in the right way, or just deal with it as it is?

I think he needs to be more concerned with where he has his tandems slid to. Looks quite a bit long to me.

He'll be ok unless he wanders into Tennessee or California.

I had an '11 KW T660 with the def tank on the passenger side. I had to pull in the wrong way every time I had to fill it because the hoses are not long enough to reach across the catwalk. If I had to fill it during busy times, I would drop the trailer in a parking spot first. But if it was late at night, I'd just pull thru backwards with the trailer. I got the ol' evil-eye look from many drivers while doing that, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I no longer have that truck.

Hard to say why, but I have had to fill with EFS and doing another transaction to make up for a partial is more time consuming than dropping the trailer where you sit and turning around to fill the other side when the sat isn't working.

I believe it looks like a FL and probably a pre DEF so I think the OP is right and having to put DEF on the right side wasn't the problem. He may have been parked and wanted to fuel on the way out, but I will guess he probably won't want to do that again.

Laughed till I hurt especially when I seen the pic of this thread on TTR while he was watching someone else do it. Kinda compressed now I never get to see anything good in the real lol

Up next, we have FedRex. The real reason they flip those trucks? The bottoms are painted orange and they have a grudge against Schneider.

After that, we have Schneider where skill in backing doesn't matter. Just treat it like sex. Get it in there without hurting anyone? G.O.A.L.!

I might have seen that once or twice, but I didn't dare ask why they did it. Just shook my head and moved on.

This was my thought. We have two KW's that have the DEF tanks on the curbside - what a pain in the ###.
