Yes. Mark Scanlan is nothing more than a Swift dropout. Pretty bad when you can't make it at Swift.:biggrin_2559: But actually he is in the perfect position as Todd Lentzs' right hand man. Both are high level management and if you combined both of them together you couldn't even come up with a half-assed dispatcher. Hopefully Celadon will figure out soon enough that Todd and Marks' ##### will be out the door.

As many companies as Celadon has bought, one would think they'd know what questions to ask to keep from getting hosed for 55 million. They need to learn "due diligence" and "buyer beware". Maybe this will teach them.

They just bought Taylor out of NC. I don't think they're worried about it being a good deal at this point. I think its all about getting bigger.

Well, it was bound to happen. Yesterday I saw my first mixed company unit going down the road. A Celadon trailer being pulled by an A&S Kinard tractor.

I know what you mean. Yesterday I saw an Ashley furniture tractor pulling a Heartland trailer.

Seems you can't tell who is who anymore.

You are 100% correct about clueless management and no idea what they are doing. Try applying for a operations job with them and see how slow, clueless, delayed and worthless the team handling that is. They know they have facilities that Celadon is telling them they now have but they have no clue how or what to staff it with or how much and they are like a dear in headlights. However they still tought they are a family company who was started with two trucks out of a persons home so many years ago and they still retain that level of care for their drivers. With Celadon involved I wonder how long before the corporate machine takes over and changes all that to a whole different model.

Mark is the one I interviewed with and no it makes sense why he was clueless on what was going on and like a deer in headlights. I have been around long enough to know a moron when I see one. The interview and experience I had with him was the most unprofessional and odd experience I have ever had. I cannot believe a guy like him is in a position that he is, only thing I figure is he went under the correct office desks and kissed the correct posteriors of the right people to get where he is because my impression of him was very much in line with what XKnightDriver is saying.
