tell him your dispatcher is giving you all the good loads under the table, tell him you were caught for overweight but you had a empty trailer, you got a ticket for a mess in your bunk and no white sheets, you got to the delivery point and they were closed so you went around to the front of the building and got the president of the company to unload you and told a state trooper the way it was going to be. or better yet how about a simple hello b safe out there

I won't go out of my way to talk to a fellow driver from my company.Made that mistake a few times.I'll walk the opposite direction hoping they don't see me.They don't know when to shut up.I'm not real big on being a conversationalist.

I always offered a quiet friendly hello. I never liked to invade a persons space. If they approached me in a mature manner, and seemed 1/2 way intelligent, I would talk as long as time allowed. I met some really great people through a couple companies that I drove for.

I had few nightmare encounters with idiots that just didn't get it. They would sit next to me at the counter talking loud, and making a fool of themselves. I walked away from a couple of meals still hungry just to get away from those fools.

If they work out of my terminal I always talk to them unless curtains are drawn. I don't go out of my way but have sat down for a meal with a few guys over the years.

Conversations do have a tendency to go directions I don't think I need nor want to go so no, a salute, nod, wave or a point of the you finger on occasion happens in a truck stop and rollin down road ... I don't go out of the way to park next too or group up either.. We're all here to do a job I do try to treat everyone with courtesy, respect and give them their space regardless of ____________ .

I run for a terminal that has @ 20 trucks so we run into each other loading and unloading all the time. We talk and sometimes help each other get the job done. Am home most every night so my only dealings with truckstops anymore is getting fuel. And then I'm in and out.

Same here, simple nod and hello how are you is enough unless it is someone I know or had dealings with before or if driver drives for same company I try to spend a few minutes shooting the breeze then on down the road.

Since there is less than 7 of us, YES. But I might keep it short and sweet cuz I like money more than talking.
