Hey Guys ,
I always wanted to drive truck but couldn't do due to some reasons but in the mean time I got few violations on my record because I live in NYC and used to drive taxi and Cops are literally against us LOL and lately I have been thinking to get my CDL.I am 25 years old and have bad driving record. I heard most of companies won't hire me because of that but most of you might thinking that how bad? Well here it is:
3 Violations in past 3 year:
1. Speeding 70 in 40 mph
2. Driving un-registered vehicle
3. Driving with suspended license
3 Suspensions in past 3 years:
1. Failed to answer summons
2. Failed to pay fines
3. Also failed to pay fines
It will be 3 years to all that stuff next year summer. Now Million dollar question , Does it make sense to go to driving school and put time and money and get CDL or should I wait?
Thank You guys

At this point with all that on your record I would not even think about Trucking for a long time. I think that you need to sit down and think to your self about driving is a privilege and not something to mess with. You just showed everybody here how reckless and immature your thinking is, if you act that way with a car, what are you going to do with a 80,000 lb. vehicle? And you know what? don't blame driving a cab in NYC. You said that you wanted a suggestion, well, there it is....
AXE Thanks this.
