Now that fuel costs have gone down, will Prime trucks go faster than 57 now?

Easy,
It's called "cruise control".
Not very difficult at all.
And, ya know.....sometimes 55 is the max. (Hear that.......MAX). In a lot of cities.
Must not get around much, eh?
Bet you dollar to donut on supposed high frequency of 55 mph minimum. Let's point em out, eh? Shouldn'the take but a minute or two.

DenaliDad Thanks this. -
I love it when super-truckers come in and blast away...bet he would hate, hate, HATE driving in Michigan where the state-wide truck speed limit is 60.

Get used to the slow trucks rookie. If you can't handle it go home to mommy's house and get a job flippin' burgers and dunkin' fries.

Geeze,
is every prime driver named richard ??
truckon Thanks this. -
I'm on company side. I drive slow to get my fuel Econ bonus... Ok ok ok I know SOMEBODY on here will call that a load of BS...
four figure paychecks don't lie. -
Im on the Jim Palmer side. Haul the same freight as all of the Prime, Wil-Trans and Henderson drivers. I put the cruise at 62 and the Classic Rock XM on 11 and truck on down the road.
dieseltrooper and WesternEmpire Thank this. -
and you don't even get paid as much as the prime drivers.

I have a full size truck and a passenger seat. I get the same fuel incentives that they do.
And I dont have to drive in Maine or Vermont. -
What's wrong with Maine and Vermont? Note: I don't drive anywhere I don't care to and that includes the other 46 lower states.
