I don't understand where he got that I am "Scared to drive in high winds" when I simply asked hoe to control a T/T in high winds. Must be the super trucker barking over the CB.

And so the name calling and "pissing contest" begins...

I can pee further than you!

    Well I can pee more!

    And? I can finish faster...!

If you didn't get a satisfactory answer, then ignore him and move on. But don't call people super truckers or steering wheel holders without a serious legitimate reason. And I see no one here right now who that would fit...

I think from here on out I'll just be watching. I know what this is beginning to look like...

lets see I90 is clear in Montana dry roads
I80 clear dry sunny NE and WY
I10 in CA has a dust storm with whiteout conditions
17 coming north from Phoenix was all ice and snow
OK last night destroyed maybe 50-75 trucks in ice

what is this south and better conditions you speak of

Been thru Wy many times, (I-80?) stopped many times at "Little America". Laramie, Cheyenne, and I do believe Casper at least once. But for someone to say that in all my years of driving and not to have seen any blown over trucks? Uh, no I haven't.

I do not believe I know of this Elk MT.?

I hope I never get to see anyone flipped. I've watched a 4-wheeler hydroplane, but stuff like that really gets to me. I'm never sure why, and call me crazy, but anytime someone has a severe injury or gets hurt... It feels like I feel it too. Meh. I'm probably just nuts.

The semi on fire after Christmas rather got to me, but all the same anytime I see an accident I always know that I need to be more careful and I'll always say a quick prayer for their family.

The elements of the weather are things to be feared and forces to be reckoned with. I figure as long as I treat them with respect (Meaning I slow down when needed and take other precautions as needed.) then Murphy will find someone else to bother. Just because they should be feared and reckoned with though doesn't mean you should stay indoors.

    Trucks can hydroplane as well.

As far as accidents go, driving over the years, I think I have seen more than enough of white sheets turned deep red, more times than I think the first responder's ever did.

Driving by an upside down big rig, with the driver still in the cab, seat belted mind you, hanging upside down, but with a sheet over him.

How I wish I was never on any particular highway, when I came across blood soaked white sheets.

Too many to tell about, even typing this, is giving me a strong headache now.

I nary wish any other trucker see what I have seen.
