Five hours later, finally loaded and out the door...
Was told to bobtail to the shipper, I get there and the load is picked but not loaded because they have no mt....oh oh neither do I! Way to go box planners.... Two hours to find an mt, which I did on my own because Schneider couldn't get their head out of their ### to find me one... The shipper starts loading me and then tells me they have more items to pick, they 'missed them' and it'll be a few hours more... So five hours total, what a cluster....
Another day in the dream life of a trucker....
Roll on.....
Oh, and I got a speeding ticket today, clocked at 82 while bobtailing to the above shipper.... I kept trying to pass a slower vehicle that kept speeding up every time I tried to pass.... So I would get back behind them only to have them slow down again... After four times I floored it, came over the rise of the hill and there sits two state troopers, perfect timing.... Guy was super nice though, only ticketed me for 70 in a 65, not 82 in a 65..... Whew..... $146 and he said no points on my license...... We'll see....
Like I said, just another day living the life....

gets to shipper.. waits 5 hours anyways... priceless
my four hour live unload and -5 degrees seems like a day in trucking heaven now.
