    Nice!!!

I guess you got out of the NE with those numbers. 500 miles and 10 hrs per day on average. Doesn't sound like the NE lol

Hello, I've been reading this thread and DFO's thread. Outstanding information and I really appreciate all of the time and energy you guys have spent putting it out there. I've recently filled out apps with Schneider and SFI. I've been trucking for about 5 years, although I can't figure out how to edit it on my profile to make it reflect that accurately, and I'm finally ready for the move into L/O. With regards to SFI, do they make you put a deposit down for a new FL? I've read conflicting information regarding this. It's not a big deal for me really but I'm just trying to plan ahead as much as possible. Thanks again for all of your help.

You can get a used truck for zero down. A new Shaker is $1k down and you can do a one year lease. However if you sign on with a new truck Schneider gives you a $1400 bonus into your maintenance account.

man I've been getting real unlucky with load cancellations. Had two in the past few days when I had zero since I started back in December. Anybody else experiencing more cancels?

When I spoke to them in September they told me the new Freightshakers didn't require any deposit, if I wanted a T680 it would be $5k

I spoke to them after and they story was different. Also there's no APU in the Crapscadia, that's an extra $1800 upfront they told me. I ended up putting that $5k down.

Exactly same thing happened to me in VA ($486 total fines). The cop was a ####### with a sour puss attitude.

Showed up in Court. Judge was treating everyone like he's got a hemorrhoid. Even asked an 89 year old man to slow down next time or don't come thru his town.

Town with a population of a few hundred. Court was the largest and only sizable building anywhere near. Seems like traffic tickets are their business. Court was packed with 400 people in two sessions.

Stood up, plead "NOT GUILTY" Judge asks the cop for his version. Cop made me look like the ####### and told the court I asked him if he had a hearing problem (which I did). The entire court took a deep breath like I am gonna get a whooping.

Told the judge the Officer doesn't know what he is talking about because the ticket says, the operator of the vehicle is "x" race. I am of "y" race. The entire court takes another deep breath.

Judge says to me, "I believe, you are as evil as the officer says you are. Now get out of my court and never come back". I said "Thank you kinde sire" and gave a winning smirk to the ####### cop. I could hear both the judge and the cop grinding their teeth. I felt like a rock star for a fast moment.

Didn't dare make any eye contact with a single soul in the court, got out and ran for my life as if bullets were following me.

Guess the Good Lord was watching out for this poor driver.

Do you get any refund if you don't use all the maintenance payment?
