I listen to audiobooks to keep my mind active. The nights I don't I find myself getting tired earlier and resorting to talk radio shows like Coast to Coast AM, which I don't advise anyone doing.

I invented the "Stay Alert Driving System" some years ago. It's $29.95 and here's how it works. You have a standard ball cap (you can customize here if you like) tie a 20lb fishing line to the back of the cap then run the line down your back keeping it tight. Tie a fishing treble hook to the end of the 20lb line just at your scrotum then hook it in good. Keeping it tight so when you nod off it gives a good pull to your sack and you'll wake up. It's Guaranteed to work. Sorry ladies, you're in a different department.

I don't need to stay awake at night. I will be sleeping. No more all night runs since I've been pulling dry van. No more middle of the night deliveries. Lumpers are few and far between. Life is good.
