I like how Bruce used his "final thought" time to toot his own horn and blame it on the owners for going to different shops.

Look at the corrosion. That's insane for practically being brand new (100,000 miles). It said on the Facebook that Pittsburg "advised" them to stop using the Evans coolant. Now we know why.

Agreed. If the DD engineer is saying 180 is a max upper threshold, then he is saying running at 190-195 will destroy the engine for life, which is pure BS, imo.

the signature owner should have brought the truck to PP to do all the work.

Kinda of hard for PP to solve his issues with another mechanic working on it and making ecm and turbo changes.

By doing this it also releases PP from the liability of the recent condition of the engine since it was not them that made or authorized the changes.

The Liner protrusion and ####ed measurements are written off as the person who measured them recently did not have a precise enough tool. We will have to see how that plays out because if they are remeasured and they do turn out to be out of tolerance than PP will have some explaining to do.

    Riprap Thanks this.

Did you really expect anything else? There's a bs reputation at stake. He's not taking calls today (the number hangs up immediately) because he knows he'll get his ### handed to him today. Promise he won't show up here either.

I'd be willing to bet that the Liner tolerances is a result of the Engine settling during the first 100k.

Where is the truck right now? At PP or the Iowa shop they keep talking about?
