I start school on March 30th so just over two weeks from now, when should I start to get some prehires? Should I go ahead and start to get them now or wait for the week before I start school? I know this question might be kind of dumb but can I have to many prehires? Thanks

Get started now. You can never have to many prehires.

I agree with Arkansas! Get started now, that way you can start weeding out the companies you don't want. And you can research companies you that catch your eye, and start creating a shortlist of companies you would like to work for.

Once you start filling out apps you'll get automated emails and should start getting calls the very next day.How long is your school for?

Here's a few flatbed companies that hire new CDL grads:

    Keim TS
    Howard Transportation
Decker Truck Line(I think the flatbed division is regional)
    Waggoners Trucking Co.
    Halvor Lines
    Melton Truck Lines(driver facing cameras)
    Pride Transport(flatbed div.)
    Celadon(flatbed div.)
    Jones Bros. Trucking

Several more that mostly run Eastern USA. Most new drivers want to truck coast-to-coast, but if you want to stay East, let us know.

If any websites have "experience required", ignore that and apply anyway.
