I start school on March 30th so just over two weeks from now, when should I start to get some prehires? Should I go ahead and start to get them now or wait for the week before I start school? I know this question might be kind of dumb but can I have to many prehires? Thanks

Get started now. You can never have to many prehires.

My next question was going to be if I could have to many prehires but you answered both of my question in one reply...thanks

I agree with Arkansas! Get started now, that way you can start weeding out the companies you don't want. And you can research companies you that catch your eye, and start creating a shortlist of companies you would like to work for.

You still want flatbed?

I've been doing a lot of research on here and other place off and on for the past couple of months and I have finely decided it's time to start school....dang Chinatown thanks a good memory because I've been bust and haven't posted in a while but yes I still want flatbed

Once you start filling out apps you'll get automated emails and should start getting calls the very next day.How long is your school for?

Here's a few flatbed companies that hire new CDL grads:
Keim TS
Howard Transportation
Decker Truck Line(I think the flatbed division is regional)
Waggoners Trucking Co.
Halvor Lines
Melton Truck Lines(driver facing cameras)
Pride Transport(flatbed div.)
Celadon(flatbed div.)
Jones Bros. Trucking
Several more that mostly run Eastern USA. Most new drivers want to truck coast-to-coast, but if you want to stay East, let us know.
If any websites have "experience required", ignore that and apply anyway. -
Thanks for the info, I just got off the phone with merlons and set up a perhire. I was planning on applying with howrad transportation too this afternoon as well as McElroy Truck Lines.
