Hi Chinatown,
I have spoken to one of the recruiters years ago before initially going to (can't mention company but, I'm sure you know of them already).... Moving on..
Schneider, only does Team Driving. I am more so interested in Solo; by entering into a company with my CDL already! I had that experience with company CDL training. Plus, New Jersey DMV does not allow us to test out in a different state and transfer the license back unfortunately..
But, thank you for your knowledge and information! Please, feel free to add more to this feed.

It will take you the length of a truck and trailer to do your down shift (for a new driver) get the rpms down t0 around 10000 (squeeze the break to feel a defiant slow down) and tack up 500 rps.
1) slow down
2) go to natural and move shifter in front of next gear
3) rev up 500 rpms, and clutch in into gear!
You will get it. pick out a spot in the ground or marker like a light pole to slow down by or to start your down shift.NVME4EVER Thanks this. -
Hi Town Drunk,
Thank you so much for your knowledge and information. I have been (Air) practicing this for days.
I can't get to the driving range until my foot heal. Sprained the anckle during excercising.
I will make notes of the information and apply them.
You are Awesome! Thanks again! -
Are you close to Rutherford, if so try Jersey Tractor Trailer.
Class is mostly BS once you have your permit, but your drive time is one on one with instructors. And they work with you until you pass the road tests, or until you figure you can't drive a big rig.

Hi Simcan,
I am actually in the "Union County" area. I've researched them as well before too! But, I am pretty much looking for the convenience for commuting on a day to day basis, and those two schools are extremely close to home for me.
Thank you for the acknowledgment though! How was your first experience on the road so far? -
Hey Cranky Yankee! How was your day so far?
