Cheap gas is a boom to WHOOSE economy?? I don't care if my wife pays 4 to 5 dollars a gallon for gasoline. It means there is enough of a demand to keep the companies drilling. Cheap gas, little demand...I'm sitting at home with out work.

Things still seem to be trucking right along in South Texas if you do vacuum truck work. And I see ads for dillion, Stevens, ptt, coastal Plains and chalk mountain every day on Craigslist.

That is pretty much what I am seeing in SE New Mexico and the part of West Texas directly south of us. Well servicing on the production side and water hauling are steady. I still see drilling and completions happening, but it seems to be mainly the larger oil companies. Some outfits out here are still hiring.

That's what I'm seeing in Midland also. There are lean days but overall there's still work.
