never got out of CA until thursday am with a load home
usually we are begging for mercy trying to get home a day later then originally booked

 

So I left the yard this AM about 2 for a 0900 Hall's. DEF still broke and now the scal is broke. Went up to the 104 and scaled. Ticket said 840 over on the tandems and plenty on the drives so I got fuel. Pulled out to adjust my tandems. No go. Sprayed down with PB Blast still a no go. Well hopefully I can slide through VA. Got up to Dale City and DOT said I was 1600 over on the tandems. Well ain't that a crock. Told me to pull around and slide not past 41'. Well now I'm prepared to call breakdown. Used the rest of my PB to soak it down. Broke free and moved it to hole 7. Good to go. Made it to Hall's at 0855.

 

I had to run in Brooklyn twice a month, never again will I go with a company that forces NYC

 

So who else hates Nestle? Got here at 1300. Finished loading at 2100. Bills say 45,199. I smile and say "I'll be right back for a readjust". I have a reefer. I weigh 36,600 with full tanks and full reefer tank. I am just over a half tanks and 3/4 tank so that should put me about 35,800. Ran down to the scale and wahla 81,100. Came back with a told you so (not a smart ##### type). Mind you, I've been up since 0100 this morning. So when they decide to rework it I'll get it down to Richfood when I get it there. I can not sleep when I am waiting on or in a dock. Safe and legal.

 

really?!?!?! Why do people cry so much about NYC? It's a snap and I will run in there anytime. I think Miami and Chicago are worse. Hey boss of company A, will you hire me to flip your burgers? But I won't work for you if you force me to use a stainless steel flipper.

Jb. I am over whelem right now.....God.....I hope this passes....whew.... sorry buddy you sat all day if I could of done something I would of...... I am now waiting till morning to have Marlins helpers put two hp coolers, with five pallets on legal trailer for me to pull to La croose Wi for Monday.....what is it with some drivers here not doing a pre or post trip on the trailers...really I guess they fix themselves...I miss that in Dons orientation.......
