My Facebook Page, for Trucking Related Technology

I am in no way trying to sell anything, or take anything away from this site, by telling people here about my Facebook page.

I simply have a Facebook page that might be a good place to visit now and then, and see what I have found out there. I am not some Tech-Guru or anything, but I do have a heavy interest in electronics, computers, and digital Photography. When I find something worth telling people about, I put it on the page. If anyone else wants to post anything on my page, they are welcome to, as long as it is helpful, clean, and Trucking Related.

There is not much there yet, but I post things when I come across them. As time goes on, I hope it will be a good place to help people get the most out of their Mobile Technology Buck.

I have been driving for a long time, and have seen so much technology come into the driving industry over the years, it makes me dizzy. Back when I started, we called dispatch on a pay phone. Some of us "advanced" drivers had a beeper, so we could be notified if anyone wanted to speak to us. We all had a large Trucker's Atlas in the truck, along with a pile of local city maps from where we ran. Most of us kept notes on places we went, so we would know how to get into the place next time.

Then came Laptops, which only the "Advanced Few" of us had. There was no wifi, so you needed to run the laptop through a phone line while you ate dinner, or sat in a hotel room. Cell phones became more common, and some of us found ways to run our Laptops through our cell phones.

All that seems so long ago, as I sit at a customer, and use my Android Phone to find my way to the next customer. That phone has completely replaced my laptop, and has it's sights set on replacing my digital camera next.

Every time I think I have everything covered, they come out with some new piece of electronic equipment, that soon becomes a "must have" device.

My aim is not to present myself as any authority or expert, but rather just share cool stuff I have found, or good deals that are out there. Check out the page, and see what you think.

Just keep telling yourself "Well, it is **FREE** advice"

It's just that I buy so many things, that turn out to be a huge disappointment, when it comes to Cell phones, Laptops, and other electronic gear. When I find something good, I like to share the info. If you find any good bargains on stuff truckers could use, feel free to post it there as well.
