Yep, I'm typing in advanced mode now. I can always see the photo in my post before I click "post", but then it doesn't show up in the actual post.

    One more time:

  4. To save you some head aches later.invest in rubber rope uploadfromtaptalk1426463354502.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1426463362220.jpg this gives you an adjustable bungee cord. As well as no "S" hooks digging into your tarp punching holes.

I have long sections that cross the flaps front and back. Just something to look into.

Where can that rubber rope be purchased?

  6. Most utility trailer locations. Or any trailer place will have it if they sell securement products.

I bought mine while in california.

Shop around the rubber rope is a good product. Since you can cut your pieces it your length. Its not an exact science, so you can practice making a few.

I like that idea. Do you leave it in the D-rings when you roll up the tarp, so it's ready to go for the next load? Or do you have to remove it?

  8. You have options. Some trailers have hooks. You can run rubber rope with a little slack. From one end along a "2,4,6,8' drop D-ring". Pull the rubber rope that's between the D-ring s down to the hooks.

Or. Make 2' ,4' or longer. Bungee cords. To hook from D-ring to rub rail.

  9. I had tarps for a trailer some years ago and had rubber rope in the D-ring s I rolled the tarp up with the rope installed.

I pull a 48' Utility with no hooks. How about running a loose run of rubber rope all the way down thru the D-rings and then using bungee hooks to attach it to the rub rail? Just stretch it down and hook it to the rub rail between each D-ring. Would that work?
