You're right. I first went to a truck driver training school for 6 weeks and did my standard road test with the Ministry (DMV/DPS) and got my CDL. Then, with Challenger I'll have to train another 4-5 weeks before I get regular pay and hauls. They are hiring drivers from Europe and the States, but I'm pretty sure they have CDL's that can be converted and must have some experience and references.

no probs about the canada spelling thing...i remember staying with my aunt in scottsdale back in the early 90s when there was a great influx of people from southern california coming in and all the real estate prices were skyrocketing. one of the only reasons i wanna otr in the western half is to be lucky enough to go through arizona every now and then

Glad you liked it here in AZ. If it cost to much there in Scottsdale you might wanta try Kingman, AZ. It's a small place now, about 30,000 pop., alot cheaper here, 30 miles to the Colorado River and Laughlyn. PM me when you go through Kingman and I'll come by pick you up and show you around.
