Oversize loads entering Long Island, NY

The way I always do for a load such as this one is : Wait at the parking on I-80 just before the toll plaza. Watch for other drivers . at some point they will walk to an office behind the plaza .bring your e-z pass transponder and truck registration. Back to truck. Wait for Port Authority police to give the green light, they will ask you how wide you are .wider than 13' you are too wide fore the far right toll booth. They will tell you to go around. On the other side I would take the first exit ( 178 th street ) go straight to the end of 178 and make a right on Amsterdam street ,left on 125 th right on 2 nd avenue. left on 59 th street bridge lower level first exit then straight to Van Dam where you will make a right. Straight to I-495 east where you make a left . I-495 brings you straight to all long Island. (so you don't need to use the Throgs Neck Bridge.much faster ) I always go straight to Customer at night and sleep there.
