I did all the driving, except for a few longer loads where the trainer drove it in when my clock ran out. HOW trainers sit the passenger seat your whole time too, none of this sleeper team driving bs you see at some other companies.
H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

Yeah that's what I want is for him to be training me not sleeping. I tell ya they seem like a great company and I feel I made a smart choice so far.
Man thanks for the input! If you have anything else I'm thankful, I don't go until the 16th of March. -
To answer the pay question...
Pay starts at .32 per mile
6 mo .33
9 mo .34
1 yr .35
After that I can't remember. Might be a penny a year.
Not to mention any assessorial pay on top.
EDIT: I checked, it's 1/2 penny every year after 1 yr....there's also a quarterly performance bonus, eligible when you complete training.Last edited: Mar 8, 2015
Weeble Kneeble and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this. -
Also I've been here about 6 mo. Still happy with my decision. Good miles, treated well. Get home when I want. any problems on the road is taken care of quickly. Yep, still happy.
Weeble Kneeble Thanks this. -
I leave 03/15 Sunday to Alabama for orientation. Carol has been very helpful and I look forward to getting done with the trainer and go to WI to meet some of these people I have spoken with in person. I do look forward to orientation but just want to get out with the trainer.
Believe this is going to be a good choice! -
Well guys I am finished with orientation and will be headed out west with the trainer in about a week. Alabama orientation was good just real busy sense it's held at a trucking school. I will say they are very big on safety and I like that, we started out five guys strong but lost two. I can't wait to get started over the road.

I have 6 months of experience and was looking at H.O. Wolding the other day. Do you average at least 2200 miles a week?
-
Sorry Iceman I can't answer this yet myself but I believe it was proposed around 2500 weekly. But I will be driving the Southeast region. I can tell you this so far, everything I was told by the recruiter it's all been confirmed true at this point.

Ok, thanks man. I'm teaming now but want to go solo, looking for something where I can gross $800/week average.

Call and speak with them they are very nice people. Good luck!
